Abstract:

For the formability of T-shaped box, firstly, the mechanical properties of 5754 aluminum alloy, 6016 aluminum alloy, DC03 steel and SPCE steel were obtained by tensile test and cupping test respectively, and the influences of stamping process parameters (blank shape, friction force, stamping speed and blank holder force) and numerical model sizes (chamfer radius and angle of inclined table at corner) on the stamping formability of T-shaped parts were quantitatively studied by numerical simulation. Then, the finite element simulation was used to guide the research and development of a cover for an automobile electronic control system, and the problem of product cracking at the corner in the initial test was successfully solved by increasing the top fillet radius and the angle of inclined table of the numerical model for the first drawing. The maximum thinning rate of T-shaped part was taken as an evaluation index, the results show that the forming quality of T-shaped part can be improved by increasing lubrication between punch and die,as well as the angle of inclined table at corners.
