Abstract:

The rolling curve is an important factor for controlling the step flatness of cross wedge rolling shaft, and the current rolling curve formula is complicated and the accuracy is poor. Therefore, the multiple mold adjustments are required in the actual production. For the multi-step shaft in actual production, its process plan and spiral bevel defects of rolling parts were analyzed, and the influence laws of the rolling curve on the right angle steps at different positions of rolling part were studied. According to the principle of volume balance, the equilibrium relationship between the wedge volume of mold and the corresponding step volume of rolling part was established under the action of the rolling curve. Finally, according to the law of volume change of step shaft end for part, the rolling curve equation of the first function form was established by the various parameters and conditions, and the rolling curve was verified by the combination of finite element simulation and rolling experiment. The results reduce the repairing number of step rolling and improve the accuracy of rolling data.
