Abstract:

According to the structural characteristics of earring installation parts and the technical requirements of actual production, the multi-station progressive die layout design was carried out. Due to the asymmetrical structure of earring installation parts, the layout design adopted a symmetric row structure. The guide hole was designed on the center line of the double rows to ensure the smoothness of sheet during the movement, the strength of blanking and bending for sheet, as well as the feeding accuracy. At the same time,the step distance was determined by using the guiding pin. The multi-station progressive die of earring installation part adopted a splicing structure, which made the workpiece and the waste naturally separated to reduce labor costs. At the same time, due to the high precision requirements of earring installation parts, a number of empty stations were designed to ensure the forming accuracy. The results show that the multi-station progressive die of earring installation parts can meet the production requirements of products. The material utilization rate of die is as high as 63.3%, which greatly saves the material.
