Abstract:

In order to explore the influence laws of process parameters on the roll bending quality for axially symmetrical fin tube, the roll bending of axially symmetrical fin tube was numerically simulated and studied by software ABAQUS, and the finite element model was used to simulate the roll bending process of axially symmetrical fin tube and circular smooth tube. Then, the distribution laws of equivalent stress and equivalent strain were compared and analyzed.  The influences of reduction, center distance of lower rollers and rotation speed of roller on the quality of roll bending for axially symmetrical fin tube were analyzed by the curve diagrams of variation rate for outer wall thickness and ellipticity as well as corresponding nephograms of equivalent stress and equivalent strain to obtain the optimal range of each parameter by analysis. The results show that the quality of formed parts is effectively controlled by optimizing the process parameters, and the correctness of results is verified by the actual experiment, which shows that reasonable process parameters are obtained by the numerical simulation analysis of roll bending process for axial symmetrical fin tube to effectively guide the actual production.
