Abstract:

In order to monitor the forming quality of cover part in real time, the cover contour detection method based on laser ranging sensor was invented. For the engine hood inner panel, the inflow amount of sheet was analyzed by software CAE, and the defect analysis method based on the inflow amount of sheet was proposed. In order to measure the inflow amount of sheet accurately, according to the inflow distribution, eight laser ranging sensors were arranged along the contour of stamping part, and the distances between laser ranging sensors at different positions and the edge of forming sheet were detected respectively. Furthermore, the coordinates of the eight characteristic points along the sheet contour were determined by the laser ranging sensor, and then the measurement data of the sample points were converted to the same coordinate system by coordinate translation, coordinate rotation and other coordinate conversion methods. After the characteristic points in the unified coordinate system were obtained, the curve fitting was performed by the interpolation algorithm to quickly generate the cover contour. Finally, a method of judging the forming quality by the stamping part contour was obtained.
