Abstract:
For the problems such as fracture, material folding and heavy punch load in the die forging process of tee pipe joint, the influences of punch speed, initial temperature of billet and friction coefficient on the die forging quality of forgings were studied, and the forming laws of forgings under three technological conditions of feeding at the same speed for horizontal punch and vertical punch, feeding at different speeds for horizontal punch and vertical punch and feeding of horizontal punch and not moving of vertical punch were studied by software Deform. Based on the above-mentioned optimal process, the influence of initial temperature for billet on the temperature distribution in the die forging process and the influence of friction coefficient on the equivalent strain of forgings were studied to obtain the optimal process parameters. The results show that the forging quality is better under the condition of feeding at different speeds for horizontal punch and vertical punch, and the punch load reduces significantly under the optimal process parameters. By comparing with the test results, the correctness of the finite element simulation results is verified, which provides a theoretical reference for the research of die forging process for similar pipes.
