Abstract:

In order to analyze the influence of pre-punched hole on springback in roll bending of high strength steel, the uniaxial tensile and cyclic loading-unloading tests were carried out on DP980 high-strength steel, and a variable elastic modulus mathematical model was obtained according to the mechanical property parameters obtained from the tests. Then, the model of U-shaped part without holes was constructed, and its precision was verified by continuous roll bending test. Furthermore, two kinds of forming schemes with different sizes and positions of pre-punched hole were designed, and the finite element simulation analysis was conducted by finite element software MSC MARC. The results show that the pre-punched hole on the web has little effect on the springback, while the pre-punched hole on the vertical side has a certain effect on the springback. The change in the transverse sizes of the pre-punched hole focuses on the impact of the sringback angle, and the change in the longitudinal sizes focuses on the impact of the change range of the springback. Thus, the reasonable design of the size and position of the pre-punched hole can effectively reduce the impact of the pre-punched hole on the springback and improve the forming accuracy of the high-strength steel strip in the roll bending.
