Abstract:

 An electric system scheme of double-axis servo motors synchronous control on the double rollers of roll forging machine was proposed, and the double-axis synchronous motion control system of roll forging machine prototype without flywheel and brake clutch was designed by the electronic gear coupling technology. This design canceled the original multi-level transmission device and used two servo motors to directly drive the load through a reducer, retaining the advantages of high mechanical driving torque and changing the single working characteristics of traditional equipment. It solves the problems of unstable pneumatic equipment, high noise, large impact on equipment, and inability to monitor the running state in real-time. It achieves the precise control of rotational speed and position of roll forging machine, and applies flexible, digital and intelligent control technology to mechanical forming equipment. It provides the possibility for the synchronous cooperation between roll forging machine and robot arm in the subsequent production line to achieve a high degree of automation. The experimental results show that the electric system of double-axis servo motors synchronization control on the double rollers of roll forging machine designed has high position synchronization accuracy and speed synchronization accuracy.
